I'm about a Caucasian as one can be, but I too find myself checking myself about what I write online, here or elsewhere. Thinking I need to carry my passport as well. I've a passport card, but who knows? I chat, on various geology boards, with lots of people not in the US. All over the world. And they are all saying basically, "What the hell is going on over there?" A friend from Germany taught me a word: "Backpheifengesicht". It basically means "a face that needs slapping." I like it. But I don't like feeling like that all the damn time. We'll miss you, Erasmus, after all these decades. You've my number. I'll be the last one to leave. I'll piss the campfire out.
