The essay linked to above skillfully and sympathetically lays out the Russian case why it is entitled to invade and occupy Ukraine, as well
as intimidate and bully western Europe. No, I don’t agree with it one bit, its the view my cousin Bolshie Bob (Robert the Red) espouses, and I reject
it. But I nevertheless highly recommend you read it. It is pro Putin propaganda devised by experts, not the clumsy crap
coming out of the Kremlin or the GOP. The bad guys aren’t always ignorant imbeciles.

We have our work cut out for us.
