Severence February 21, 2025 12:50 pm BuckGalaxy

This is not an Edward Hopper painting, it’s a beautiful cinematic shot from the best show hands down on TV right now: Severence on Apple TV.

This is a show where you can only guess what’s really going on, but it still completely engages the viewer. The main characters all have compelling stories and arcs, and I literally count the days until the next episode is released.

The cinematography is outstanding, even despite much of it is indoors and in a sterile environment.

The use of empty space in many of the shots is brilliant.

This show alone is worth the $7/month for Apple TV, but of course there are many other great shows there as well.
