I’ve noticed that Canada has something called “Heritage Moments” – little videobites before movies that explain a bit of their history to the audience, and it seems like a novel idea. Knowing how often people go to the movies, you could give them a bit of knowledge before they watch the movie. These history bits usually cover important events in Canada’s history, along with famous people from the country.
Why not do that here? All we have before movies are ads, and seeing as most preshow stuff is projected from computers instead of film reels, it wouldn’t cost that much to distribute. What do you guys think?
