I wonder if it would (will) contaminate the water. Environmentalists are right to watch over these things but sometimes they do tend to be extreme which, unfortunately, reduces their reliability when predicting disaster. We need to protect our environment since we can’t just pick up and leave once we’ve killed everything and soured all the things we rely on to live. OTOH we have to progress. Or do we?
