The Techmeister is NOT a sincere but batshit-crazy Conservative nutcase, as he pretends to be. He is a thoroughly sane and calculating, but totally unscrupulous Liberal provocateur pretending to be a wingnut. The Techster is a black propagandist; he discredits his ideological targets by pretending to be one of them, and then acting in such an extreme and outrageous fashion that he generates opposition to them from moderates and centrists, and invokes enthusiasm and stiffens resistance from lukewarm or apolitical progressives.

Black Propaganda is a tried and true Psywar technique perfected by Lavrenti Beria in the early days of the Soviet State Security apparat, although it’s origins go back a lot further than that–to the Czar’s Secret Police. Have you ever heard of “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion”? You publish or broadcast material so offensive that it infuriates everyone exposed to it, but you sign it so that it appears to be issued by the other side, and that it was “accidentally” released to the public.

There are clues. For example, have you noticed how we know absolutely nothing about SDAI, who he is, what he does, what his back story or provenance is? There is no biography or history on him whatsoever, except for all his time-travel and reincarnation nonsense and his secret agent fantasies–on a science-related blog, yet! This only serves to underscore that SDAI is quite mad, therefore his right-wing nonsense is the product of a deranged mind, further undermining the credibility of all legit conservatives.

But he’s not deranged. He is a highly skilled and thoroughly toxic propagandist. Beware, he may be a closet Lefty (I suspect he is a Bolshevik or even an Anarchist), but he is more dangerous than any skinhead fascist. At least you know up front where they’re coming from.
