Bah. The card reader for my conversion programs apparently has a roller made of something that turns into a brown booger after enough time passes. There are methods for repairing this by disassembling the whole mess and replacing it with some kind of silicone O-ring but it’s not worth the trouble any more. Guess I’ve got to look up conversions myself from now on.
