Israel has trained guards in schools, not armed teachers, but they have a lot fewer schools and a much larger pool of trained personnel to draw on. A flaw I see in the “guards in every school” thing is where all the guards will come from for thousands of U.S. schools, particularly in urban areas that have many in one precinct.
