Drone strikes in the US March 5, 2013 8:46 pm bowser

http://openchannel.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/03/05/17197906-holder-no-drone-strikes-in-us-except-in-extraordinary-circumstance?lite

The Obama administration made it official – the US government is at war with it’s own citizens.

“The Obama administration has no intention of carrying out drone strikes against suspected terrorists in the United States, but could use them in response to “an extraordinary circumstance” such as the 9/11 terror attacks, according to a letter from Attorney General Eric Holder obtained by NBC News.

“Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., who received the March 4 letter from Holder, called the attorney general’s refusal to rule out drone strikes in the U.S. “more than frightening.”

Any circumstance can be called “extraordinary”.  What BS!

Terrifying.  However, it only shows how ridiculous is the gun nuts claim that they need guns to protect themselves from the government.  It makes you wonder who they think they are.  A disorganized bunch of hunters armed with the best they have is no match for what the government can bring to bear.  Whatever else one may think about insurgents, or the Vietnamese, they were well organized, smart, and willing to die.  The latter goes a long ways.

To think of a drone in the US under the control of a Dick Cheney is frightening.
