Remember, of course that a lot of the time they don’t know what the hell they’re talking about because of very narrow focus and they pooh pooh anything that is not double-blind tested because of their “first, do no harm” motto. Not a bad attitude but sometimes they get a little vehement and have no curiosity to find out IF something works. They just get used to pooh-poohing. That said, caution is always advisable.
