The F-35 - Why other countries are bailing out. July 14, 2013 6:03 pm bowser

http://www.defenseindustrydaily.com/the-f-35s-air-to-air-capability-controversy-05089/

This plane is up to $120 million each (so far) and in fails performance promises in all 5 top areas.  Many knowledgeable people say it is beyond salvage – too much needs fixing.  And the allies who were committed to purchase to help keep down the costs are bailing as fast as they can and not overly embarrass the US.

The military just can’t admit failure.  I don’t see any pictures of Ospreys in combat roles in Afghanistan, but I do see a lot of CH-21Cs.  There may be some publicity pictures of their utility, but I think that’s just another boondoggle, ahead of it’s time.  $64 million apiece.
