Ridley Scott: “Science Fiction is Dead” –Not a Match for Reality
Typical of his ilk, he produces a “bomb” (Prometheus) and suddenly, “There’s nothing original. We’ve seen it all before. Been there. Done it,” Scott says.
He compares the SF genre to Westerns of the 60′s. The difference is obvious. Westerns are history. The range of SF is far greater and as long as there are books written and films made people will never tire of experiencing where technology will take us.
- It will be interesting to see how much SF *actually*
