Fixed my laptop March 29, 2014 10:03 am RobVG

I love my Toshiba netbook. I’ve had it for 6 years with no hardware problems. I’ve been attacked by two nasty viruses and used the opportunity to use it’s recovery partition to get rid of them and start out from the “new state”

A few months ago the screen started to black out in certain positions. Eventually it only worked in a few positions and then only if I banged, pinched and twisted the screen.

Figured it must have been a bad connection and found a Youtube on how to take it apart. Once I was in there, I manipulated the connector which was underneath the most sticky tape I’ve ever come across. Now, all is well.

I feel that fixing a computer using the Internet is somewhat recursive :)
