You could tell a lot of jokes about a history museum from ancient times being very small, but this one wasn’t. It’s easy to forget that there was almost as much history in that area before that as there was from then to now.
The one thing that I always hope somebody finds is evidence that there were great civilizations long prior to the ones we know about. After all, homo sapiens is over a quarter of a million years old. Maybe older.
