NASA will fly the biggest rocket ever by November, 2018. August 30, 2014 2:24 pm bowser

http://www.space.com/26964-nasa-mega-rocket-2018-sls-test-launch.html?

400 feet high.  The first test flight will take an Orion capsule out of low Earth orbit.  $7 billion spent on it between 2014 and 2018.  Could carry men to asteroids or Mars.

I’d like to see that launch.

  • I wonder how frequent those launches will be by mcfly 2014-09-02 14:39:08
    • Nice, but I'd bet money the costs will rise and the launch date will slip. by BuckGalaxy 2014-09-01 19:54:28
      • Hi Buck. Supposedly there is a year's unexpected delay built in. by bowser 2014-09-01 20:03:04
