I admit, the GOP is no longer about voting for the guy you think is the best candidate, unless if you think that guy is Trump.
That guy isn’t Trump for me, neither is Cruz. I voted for Cruz in Yesterday’s Idaho Primary hoping he’d pick up enough votes to block delegates going to Trump. He came closer than I guessed at 45%. He needed 50% to get all of the delegates. So my state still gave up 12 delegates to Trump.
Its a desperate strategy to block Trump, but I don’t see any other way. If more states pick up on this there is a chance he won’t get the nomination, otherwise it’s a runaway Trump nomination. I’ve said before if Trump wins, I won’t be voting for him in the General election. It was hard enough voting for Cruz last night. Never have I hated an election year so much.
