I got a postcard today from a T-shirt company, selling me a line of t-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies emblazoned with my name and a graphic of a telescope, with the phrase “Hank Observatory” (although ‘hank’ was replaced with my real last name). I can only guess how they got it, and that I was interested in astronomy.
We may not have national health care in the USA, but we get custom marketed and tagged sports wear, delivered to your door. Oh Brave New World.
