Just for the record, I don’t believe a word of Michael Wolff’s new book on the Trump White House, “Fire and Fury”. I think he’s made it all up, that it is blatant sensationalism and designed either as deliberate political sabotage aimed at Mr Trump, or just to raise money from the Trump haters.
Now don’t get me wrong, I believe his every criticism of Trump is right on target; his low attention span, his declining intelligence, the ego, the narcissism, the lies, the childishness and insecurity, the contempt of his own associates for him, and the confusion and chaos in the West Wing.
But you don’t need an inside reporter to tell you any of that, its pretty obvious to anyone who reads the papers and Trump’s tweets, or listens to him speak off the cuff.
I base my opinions on my evaluation of Mr Wolff as seen on press interviews, and on evaluation of him by several reporters I respect who are no supporters of Trump but who are familiar with Wolff’s prior work. I believe Mr Wolff will be discredited convincingly, soon, and the backlash will serve to vindicate Trump and devastate Trump’s critics.
I wouldn’t even be surprised to learn it was planned that way right from the start…
By the way. I feel the same way about the infamous Steele Dossier, you know, Putin’s pissing Moscow hookers? Its just too good, and too easy, to be true. I know an ambush when I see one; I smell Bannon and Breitbart all over this.
