What’s really scary about this whole affair is that
1) Trump asserted he would sign any compromise on immigration that was acceptable to both sides.
2) When that bipartisan bill was presented to him, one that provided for both DACA relief and border security, he accepted it warmly.
3) He immediately changed his mind and went against the bill when one of the Republicans at the table interrupted the exchange to remind him that the proposed compromise “violated
Conservative principles”.
Trump considers all the evidence and counsel on an issue before he makes up his mind. But he always goes with the last advice he gets.
