Brought to you by the same people who brought you Birtherism…

Why are we even arguing about any of this? Not even the perpetrators of this fraud believe any of it, its just smoke and mirrors to distract the rubes while they break into the vault.

Instead of wasting our time trying to convince the entrepreneurial wannabees, business majors, Junior Achievers, Young Republicans and Goldwater Girls how badly they’ve been conned, we should instead be debating just how we can protect ourselves from what we all know is coming. Now is not the time for “I told you so”. Its about time we gave some thought to “What do we do now?”

No one can predict the future, and history does not repeat itself exactly, but we can make some reasonable projections and devise some appropriate coping strategies. We don’t know when the storm is coming, or how bad it will be, but we can batten the hatches, take in a reef, pump the bilges dry and make sure there’s plenty of hot coffee in the Thermos.

Maybe we should open a new posting category: “Emergency Preparedness”.
