When acts of cruelty are done in order to affect the audience….

The creatures that voted for Trump enjoy these acts of cruelty. They know the acts are evil, and could never do the acts themselves- so they get vicarious pleasure watching others perform the cruelty in their names… it is very much like when they watch porn…

The performance bonds them to the abuser more tightly. When the majority of decent human beings recoil, it causes these deviants to bond together and view themselves as the oppressed. All the while the performance they cheer on in a frenzy becomes more and more obscene- as they become bored with the old cruelty, the actors must come up with a new act to keep them entertained. The cycle of depravity becomes more and more outrageous in an ever quickening cycle.

The sadistic minority- rejected by the still-human majority- turn to each other for ‘moral’ support- ‘These acts are justified’ they tell each other on Fox news, ‘These acts are necessary’, ‘These evil acts are not really THAT evil’, and finally ‘It’s about time, THEY HAD IT COMING!’

With every step down the path, with every rationalization they must pare down their humanity just a little bit more in order to accept the latest atrocity. With every step they have the option of saying ‘ENOUGH! THIS IS WRONG! I will not be part of this!’….

So why don’t they turn back? Why do they run down this path to fascist hell, never once turning around?

The answer is simple- If they ever once turn around, they will have to see all that they threw away in their mad scramble to get this far down the path this fast… the decaying fragments of whatever humanity they once possessed.

So they obediently march to their master’s tune, bound to him with cords of cruelty- mindlessly repeating the lyrics fed to them to feel better about what they have become: “THEY HAD IT COMING!”

The cruel play must go on, never an intermission, because a pause in the play might give them a moment to reflect on what they have become.

And more children will die…
They have it coming.
