It is only a matter of time before someone does his bidding. The death threats are already pouring in at an increasing rate.

Yet Trump continues to fan the flames… making up incendiary quotes the Congresswomen never said, claiming they hate America, claiming they support terrorism, claiming they should be sent back where they came from.

When yet another Trump supporter kills on his command… what then?

What then?

Why then his supporters will shake their heads, say its a shame, and say with moral superiority that ANY attempt to link the terrible act to the president’s words is playing contemptible partisan games with the tragedy. Really, it was just as much the victims fault… if they hadn’t said those imaginary things falsely attributed to them, then none of this would have happened… Really, they brought it upon themselves… probably should have been done long ago.

The outraged backlash to the event will only reinforce their depraved delusions that THEY are the true victims.

And so yet another bright red line will be crossed, making it that much easier to not flinch when it happens again, and again…

Do you doubt that Americans are capable of accepting targeted killings of the president’s critics?
We already have accepted the regular gunning down of schoolchildren as the ‘price of freedom’, sure, its sad, but doing something about it would really rock the boat… might cost someone re-election, might upset the gun fetishists… best to just send thoughts and prayers via Facebook and move on.
