Turkey’s authoritarian boss, Erdogan, has insulted, inside the White House itself, Trump (and by extension the entire USA), by publicly returning Trump’s ‘tough guy’ letter warning Turkey not to attack the Kurds. He then further compounded the outrage by playing a crude propaganda video showing the Kurds as terrorists to a group of Republican officials assembled to scold Erdogan about his assault on Syria and his purchase of a Russian air-defense system. Among the GOP officials were the apologist Senators Lindsay Graham and Rick Scott, who would have been better employed paying attention to the Impeachment Hearings going on simultaneously to this meeting.

World leaders, supposedly our NATO allies, are now feeling empowered to come and insult our country in the Oval Office itself. Way to go, Donald. Foreign bullies are now coming to our house to treat America the same way you treat your political rivals and critics. MAGA, baby, MAGA. They really respect us now. They are no longer laughing at us behind our backs. They’re doing it to our faces, in our own living rooms.
