Tales of the Interregnum December 18, 2020 6:25 am ER

What is Biden going to do about the Russian hack? He has mentioned he will have a response, although understandably, he has not mentioned any details.

No doubt Trump’s security team is already cooperating with Biden’s people behind the scenes so a policy to deal with Russian cyberespionage activities will be in place and can hit the ground running the day Biden takes the oath. Right?

Maybe that’s why Trump hasn’t even mentioned the incident since it was first revealed to the American public a few days ago. He and the Biden team must be working together in secret to craft an appropriate, coordinated response. Right?

Surely leading Republican leaders in Congress, the agencies and the White House are urging Trump to contact the Biden transition team to put together an appropriate response, right?

And if nothing like this has happened, surely, President Trump’s supporters will rise in indignation to protest why nothing is being done right now to address this pressing National Security issue, right?

For decades we have had to put up with sanctimonious Conservative outrage about how Democrats are soft on National Security and now all we hear from them is silence, lest they embarrass their Fuhrer while he does everything he possibly can to sabotage the incoming administration.

I hope they enjoy their tax cut.
