Marine to serve no time in Iraq killings case. January 24, 2012 6:53 pm bowser

Obscene.  He, and his commanding officer should be  shot.  This isn’t collateral damage, this is deliberately tracking down and killing numerous civilians.  Anyone this far out of control should not have been in combat.  The lesson sent out by shooting them would be to be careful

The message sent out now is that civilians are fair game.  And everyone who supported this war knew this sort of stuff would happen and is guilty, too.  Didn’t even dock his pay.  Because he has children.  Who are alive.

This guy is a tragedy.  The US has lost a lot in this matter, and deserves to.  I can’t think of a less responsible outcome.
