Weekly News June 15, 2011 7:08 pm Vitruvius

Since I see so many pieces of interesting news every week, but don’t want to spam the board with them, I’m going to start a weekly series of posts featuring interesting bits of news I find.  If you guys want me to stop, I can; but I figured I see quite a few  stories worth seeing.

Boy rapes boy

Both were underage, and apparently the older one (Mentally ill) lured the younger one to his house with the promise of Pokemon games.  Apparently, the local government and health officials knew about his declining mental state, but decided to do nothing.

CIA informees detained by Pakistani authorities

Apparently, Pakistan has arrested the CIA informees suspected of giving out information that led to the bin Laden raid.  Y’know, if they don’t want to look guilty about hiding the guy, they’re doing a helluva job going about it.

Catholic Charity says ‘no’ to Hooters

……… I’m not really sure where to start on this, except for this point:  How the hell did they even consider it!?

LulzSecurity claims responsibility for Government hacks.

These guys are punks.  The stupid black hats are making things even worse for guys like Project Chanology and Cult of the Dead Cow.  Normally, if you hack a site, YOU DON’T DO ANYTHING.  You take a peek, copy the coding, keep  the passwords, and if you’re feeling particularly bold, leave a message for the guys warning about crappy security points on the server.   Seriously….

China ‘covered up’  lead risks to children

Aaand once again, the US government throws mud at the chinese.  Is the Chinese government a bunch of *plural genitalia*?  Yes.  Is the US any different when it  comes to environmental issues?  HELL NO.

Greek PM to form new government

Is it just me, or is every country in Europe doing a revamp on their political workings?  At least most of these transitions are bloodless……. Only thing on my mind is, do the people of Greece agree with the PM on this?  Or will a new dictatorship form up?

That’s all for now.  More of a test than anything.  Again, if you don’t like this, just tell me.
