First it was the Congress, and now the Supreme Court, threatening the Great March of Progress.

“Ultimately, I’m confident that the Supreme Court will not take what would be an unprecedented extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected congress.

And I would like to remind conservative commentators that for years what we have heard is that the biggest problem is judicial activism and that an unelected group of people would somehow overturn a duly constituted and passed law.

Well, this is a good example and I’m pretty confident this court will recognize that and not take that step”

Wow. Remember when “judicial activism” was a liberal’s best friend?

Remember the facts about that “strong majority?” A health care bill shoved through the system by hook or by crook, with 34 Democrats defecting in the House and no Republican votes at all in either chamber? With bribes and threats in the Senate? Passing despite polls that were against it, and still are? A bill that lost the House and many states for the Democrats in 2010?

Remember what I said about some Democratic leaders beginning to lose a few marbles? I wonder if Obama is going to threaten to destroy the Supreme Court like his hero FDR tried to do.
