New (and very dangerous) telephone/computer scam October 29, 2012 4:44 pm FrankC

Microsoft Global Technical Support

Well, it’s new to me anyway.

Middle Eastern type calls you says they have identified problems on your computer and they will help you fix them.

Sure, only the little old lady from Pasadena should fall for it but we all have weak moments. I have seen a lot of phishing and fix-it links but this is the first direct phone call I have received.
