Now it's AVG March 28, 2015 9:19 am RobVG

My wife downloaded the pay Version of AVG by “accident”. It was no accident, it’s how AVG designed there website to fool you into downloading something you don’t want. I went to remove it and get a pop up on the add/remove screen. I’ve never seen a pop up there. It said sorry to see you go, would you rather download the free version?

Give me a break.

This practice is either outright deception or the fault of incompetent web developers. I’ll let you decide.

[this post was toned down do to increasing numbers of corporate lawsuits being brought against online reviewers] (well, not really)
