There are multiple reports this morning that last night, at the NSS’s International Space Development Conference in LA, Jeff Bezos announced he’s rescuing “The Expanse” for another season, to air on Prime.
No more bitching about Amazon’s carbon footprint, OK?
I just watched the sixth episode of current season last night, and of course liked it. I found the second season a bit hard to follow, but the third season seems to have tightened-up the story-telling, and it’s working beautifully. I never will understand why the idiots at Syffy decided to cancel a show about which people argue whether it’s “one of the best” or “the best” sci-fi show ever. But then, Syffy’s the home of the Sharnknado franchise, so maybe The Expanse will be better off in a new home.
Of course, it may turn out like “Fox & Friends” with Trump, a show with an audience of one–Bezos–and a mission to stay on the air forever by keeping Jeff happy. Still, I can’t complain.
