REALLY off topic question for gardeners... March 27, 2021 1:55 pm RL

I have good soil that we grew vegetables in last year, and a ton of compost (grass clippings, leaves and kitchen scraps and LOTS of coffee grounds) that (probably) isn’t fully cooked- it is a writhing mass of earthworms…. like something out of a horror movie…

I have been mixing it 50:50 with last year’s soil, but I have seen recommended ratios of compost:soil ranging from 30:70 to 60:40… I have not started planting anything yet (other than 3 containers of potatoes) , just mixing soil and not sure what the best ratio is… Since the compost probably isn’t fully cooked I don’t want it to deprive my plants of nitrogen… Any suggestions?
