Surely, his bosses were profiting mightily form his editorial positions, they knew exactly what he was doing, in fact, they probably put him up to it!
There is no doubt that everything TC said, every position he took, was thoroughly vetted by FOX. It was not his fault, and his masters certainly can’t say he was a rogue, or a loose cannon.

Could they be upset that his leaked emails, which gave the Dominion plaintiffs the hard evidence they needed to stick it to FOX, were a surprise? It is clear that the hypocrisy of the FOX news staff, that they were saying one thing publicly and another privately, was well known throughout the entire organization. His fellow anchors participated in it, management certainly was aware of it. The entire FOX news program was crafted, probably right at the top, because it was GOOD FOR BUSINESS. Besides. He wasn’t the only one. Everybody at the network was in on it. Everybody knows that now. Its on the public record. It is State’s Evidence.

It might be argued that Carlson’s firing will alienate their viewers, who might blame them for “caving in to the Libs”. But no, that will be spun as a vicious attack by the Deep State, another one of Hillary’s crimes, the jack-booted thugs of the Pelosi regime getting their way. The Right loves playing the victim, they’ll find some way to blame it on Hunter Biden.

No, I believe a secret deal was cut. Losing Tucker was the price FOX had to pay for keeping the rest of their gang of demagogues, and it was a price FOX gladly paid for saving over 700 Megabucks. Tucker Carlson was kicked off the bus. He was turned over, the fall guy, the chump. He was sacrificed to save Rupert’s financial ass. So much for sticking up for your people, backing up your loyal soldiers, serving your faithful audience. All that really mattered was what was GOOD FOR BUSINESS.

But I wouldn’t worry about Tucker. His ilk can always find a job somewhere…
