Another FTL question: Holographic wormholes April 18, 2025 12:20 pm BuckGalaxy

Holographic wormholes could effectively create a “shortcut” between two points in space/time. While it seems unlikely matter could travel through such a wormhole, would information possibly be able to? Nothing is actually exceeding the speed of light, but if the distance travelled in the wormhole from one point in space/time to another is shorter, then it would be faster than a straight line at SoL through a standard path in space. Could this be a way to FTL communication?

Physicists Create a Holographic Wormhole Using a Quantum Computer
The unprecedented experiment explores the possibility that space-time somehow emerges from quantum information, even as the work’s interpretation remains disputed.
