The Scottish verdict April 12, 2012 4:50 am ER

Well, if Zimmerman goes to prison for manslaughter, it will be trial by the liberal main stream media and pandering to left wing pressure groups. If he is acquitted, it will be another instance of the racists oppressing the black man, “open season on people of color”.

If, as in many trials, innocence cannot be established but not enough evidence exists for conviction, there will be trouble. And no matter how convincing any evidence from the trial may be, half the population will not be convinced. It will be more conspiracy theories, more hand wringing, more outraged indignation, and more violence.

In Scotland, its called the ‘bastard verdict’.
