I don’t know if this is true for everyone’s interface, but my “blockquoted” text comes out with kind of a blood red background. It gives my quotes a kind of “Necronomicon” feel I’m not really looking for, and red backgrounds have chapped my ass since the dawn of the internet.
A nice light gray, contrasting with the text background, but not garish, would be nicer.
Not in any way urgent, of course.
