With all due respect (which isn't much), - - - October 17, 2012 1:21 pm bowser

After the first debate there was a period of mass hysteria, characterized by incontinence, arm waving, shouting and insults.  Their candidate was King, send the moving vans.

After the second, someone says Obama got “clobbered”.  Clearly that’s the most inaccurate assessment possible, and that person clearly wasn’t paying attention.  Or was, as he says, hearing only what he wanted to hear.  Probably both.  ”Clobbered” is so far off the mark it calls into question the judgment of anyone who would say that.  I don’t think any other opinions from that source could be trusted.  ”Clobbered”, indeed!

The same person says to watch the polls, whoops, then says pay no attention to the polls watch a focus group instead.  We are told that debate doesn’t matter, because some folks concentrate on how they say things which works to the detriment of those who care what they say.

What was so important as to be decisive earlier all at once becomes irrelevant.  The excuses start to get trotted out.

How do these people hold their heads up?  Weak, wishy-washy, intellectually dishonest, there isn’t any moral substance.  Just say whatever sounds good at the moment.

And at the slightest bit of good news, gloat.  Long, hard, work to out-gloat each other.  Those two-toned pants are so becoming – yellow in the front, brown in the back.
