What it takes to be a conservative. May 23, 2013 11:30 pm bowser

First, live off of other peoples labors.  Not your own.

Second, trumpet self-reliance.  While living off of others labors.  Fight unions so as to get as much from their labor as possible while giving them as little as possible.

Third, get as much government support as possible in the guise of creating jobs (low paying).   Realizing the government can’t support everything, make sure it supports you.  And trumpet self-reliance, promote self-reliance in the process.

Promote socialism in high finance, the government guaranteeing profits.

Promote capitalism among individuals, allowing them to absorb losses.

But first, live off the labors of others.  Don’t bust your own butt or risk your own pension.  First rule of Conservativism.

Some don’t do that, and if you’ll notice they are poorer at being conservative than others.

Just first thoughts while driving along.   I’m sure there are others.
