Advice sought July 2, 2013 8:40 pm bowser

I’d like to load the contents of my desktop with Vista onto my Samsung laptop, erasing the contents of the Samsung and it’s Windows 8.

Is there a way to do this, and have the thing work?

Or should I just buy some Linux system and load it into the laptop and gain some experience with that?

Thanks for whatever attention you can give this.
