I can’t wait to get my domains (and eventually, my sites) off GoDaddy. Technically they’ve been ok, but they’re run by a complete jerk, and as they say “So goes the king…”
Google will provide what GoDaddy can’t–a home one can feel good about. Perhaps they’re not a perfect corporate citizen, but if you ever find one, lemme know!
Little-known fact: you can host a public-facing website directly from a Google Drive account…for free, and as long as you don’t need what web monkeys call a “back-end,” which encompasses things that makes most normal people nod off.
