Heads up for anyone that uses Comcast (Xfinity) email November 17, 2011 11:54 pm FrankC

I got a very convincing email supposedly from Xfinity stating my account had been locked due to someone accessing my account from a different computer.

They directed me to another convincing site where the problem could be resolved. After asking me to confirm my email address, they wanted me to copy and paste a lengthy code into a dialogue box.

Since this was spooky, I contacted Comcast and they denied any knowledge of the message. I was never locked out in any case.

I suspect some mischief by Comcast but who knows?
