On none of the campaign posters in my area that I’ve seen do the Republican candidates identify themselves as Republicans.  One candidate for Congress has a 9 page web site, upon which the word “Republican” occurs exactly no times.

I have made it a point to email each of these people.  I have a little questionaire.

I drove past a campaign poster with your name, picture and slogans.  It did not mention that your are a Republican, although that is probably quite relevant and of interest to Oregon voters.  I’m wondering:

Are you trying to deceive the voters in this district by omitting your party affiliation?

Is your party affiliation irrelevant to the people of this district?

Are you ashamed of being a Republican?

Otherwise, why don’t you claim that?

What part of being Republican are you ashamed of?  Use another sheet if necessary.
