Asimo learns January 9, 2012 7:58 pm RobVG

Iv’e been watching this little guy for awhile, Honda’s “Asimo” robot. This update (2009) shows Asimo taking in sensory cues and processing them into object recognition.

They start talking about AI but I don’t think this is an example. I think what’s happening is Asimo is simply crunching and storing the input gathered and following the logic provided by software.

Lot’s of Youtube videos covering his development.
