Ideological Fault Line! The Doom of the GOP January 12, 2012 4:56 pm BuckGalaxy

Wow. THIS is what Newt Gingrich, Rick Perry and Ron Paul are attacking Mitt Romney with. It’s a longish video but well worth watching if you want a preview of the debate that will shape the next 10 months.

Rush is getting an aneurysm over it. It’s “anti-capitalism!” Pure Bullshit. Talking about the excesses of ONE company like Bain is anti-capitalism like the NYT doing a bad book review is anti-literature. Intelligent people can debate the excesses, legal or not, of the corporate raiders and their leveraged buyouts, without condemning the entire free market system.

And that very concept is what is so poisonous to the GOP. The hoards of working class republican voters who have been deceived through wedge issues and obfuscations into voting against their own and their nation’s interests, they too have resentments against the type of Wall St. financiers who destroy businesses and jobs and pocket billions leaving scorched earth in their wake. Justifiably so! And opening the ideological schism that the free market actually needs rules is a watershed moment on the far right!

The times they are a changin’!!!!!
