I live in what was once a sleepy seaside side town in British Columbia. There has been about one murder a week in the greater Vancouver area. 3 near me in the last two years.
A half hour ago, someone was shot in the ballfields 1 KM away from our townhouse.
All this and the homeless and close to 200 drug overdoses a month.
The decline of western civilization comes to mind.
