If quantum computers become a viable reality - - - - - ? November 29, 2011 2:05 pm bowser

While I think they are on the order of fusion power, what would happen if reliable quantum computers came along?  Specifically, how hard would it be to write programs for them which would utilize their more or less full capacity?

 

It would seem to be extremely time-consuming and difficult.  But I know more about cracking 64-bit cyphers than writing programs.
