Makes some sense that the Iranians would want to convince the world it had captured one more or less intact when indeed it had been more or lest destroyed, and they’d haul out a mode..
And Obama’s excuse that the US did not want to go into Iran to get it back or destroy it as that could be construed as an “act of war” simply doesn’t pass the smell test UNLESS it was secured in a protected area in a populated area of Iran. Then the operation to destroy it could well be a major act of war.
