How are Webpages written these days? December 17, 2011 1:04 pm RobVG

I learned HTML and CSS. Now when I “view source”, it’s unrecognizable to me. lot’s of “JavaScript” and XML.

You can still produce a webpage with HTML so I wonder what advantages of other web languages have over simple HTML?

I’m wondering if it would be worth the time to teach yourself how to build these ‘new’ websites having only an academic interest and curiosity?

Or just continue to fall behind a steepening curve…
