Interesting book, a part of it criticizes news reporting for having to appear “balanced”.  For instance, news organizations seem to feel that evolution and creationism deserve equal time or they will appear biased.

In short news organizations feel it necessary to give any cockamamie point equal space if someone is going to hollar unfair.

Romney and Ryan have shown themselves to be buffoons.  If you’ll notice not even the knee-jerk dittoheads around here aren’t defending them.  They are impossible to respect and their own party doesn’t seem to defend them much.  They just accept the lies and go on the attack of Obama.

And yet the news every night will have about as much about those two fools as they will about Obama, a President still busy cleaning up after the last Republican assault on our way of life.

There really is no reason to follow that campaign – it’s impossible to respect them, clearly liars simply after power, no substance, no morals or ethics.

And yet we will see their faces every day for a while, as the media is forced to act as if they were newsworthy.
