Syria to give up the chems? September 10, 2013 1:24 pm FrankC

So, Syria wants to put their chem weapons under UN control.

I am glad that a military response has been delayed but I doubt it will happen.

1. It is the nature of Middle easterners to stall and equivocate when they are outgunned.
2. Inspection of the weapons is likely to reveal the source. Maybe they made them, maybe not.

It is frustrating to watch a situation that is likely to go nowhere. Hope I am wrong.
