How fast was Paul Walker going. December 4, 2013 1:53 pm RobVG

This may seam callous but a lot of people are asking how fast were they going before he and his friend crashed the Porsche Carrera GT, killing both of them. Eye witnesses have estimated 130 mph. Authorities say 45.

I think I’ve found the spot where the accident took place.

Google Maps.
28361 Constellation Rd Santa Clarita , CA.
Look at the Northwest corner of the building.

There is video from a security camera behind the hedge across from the crash site. It shows a light pole knocked down and then the collision with the tree. The distance between the two is approximately 100′ and the time between the two collisions is about 1 second.

That works out to 68mph. More than that depending on how much they were slowed by the pole.
